Fleet customers needed to manage graphics.
The problem–
Branding often looked inconsistent due to placement and color variance with different installers using disparate designs and materials.
No way to see fleet vehicles or order replacement graphics. This was all done on various spreadsheets, handled by 1-2 people in the company.
Fleet management programs were costly, and they didn’t include features for graphics management.
Research
Based on interviews with fleet customers, we came up with the following requirements:
Filters by location and film types
Sort by installation date
Management for “fleet” wrap types by (1) vehicle and (2) wall graphics, including signage
Robust search: Vin, year, make, model, type
Easy to request service: replacement, removal, repair, new request
Iterations
We knew we eventually wanted bulk actions, and we weren’t confident in the photography requirements for our installers.
While other variations might have been more visually attractive to pitch, we landed on the table variation to build— easier since we already had table component and simplifies actions to ship faster.
As a proof of concept, I built this in Airtable.
Revenue
The pitch deck, Airtable POC, and marketing site helped generate $427K in revenue.
According to our sales team, the potential is great— an estimated $2.45M in revenue.
